Who are we?
We are the youth, and we want to make a positive impact on the world. So we will.
Young people are under attack. Our voices trampled, our views derided, our ideas belittled. We are the future, and yet we are treated as more insignificant than the past. The New Word is here to change this. With an online magazine run for young people, by young people, we offer the platform denied to you by mainstream media, the platform that we need to change the world.
TNW understands the power of the written word – we want to harness this potency and explode into a multiplicity of young voices that will stretch across the globe and provide any young person with the opportunity to shout their ideas, opinions and narratives from a rooftop built by our passion and commitment to destroy the boundaries that constrain us and anyone whose voice cannot be heard. If you have something to say, but no place to say it, we want you.
We want your new theories on quantum physics, your opinion on the Middle East, your personal narrative on race, culture and identity. Don’t let the world convince you that your words are not worth writing. You are The New Word. We are the future.
If you have something to say, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org!
The New Word is part of the charity, The Youth Project (www.typuk.org), which aims to unite and empower young people so that we can work together and make a positive impact on the world.
